A flagship beer produced by our dear friends at Tired Hands, one of the first breweries to set the Hazy East Coast IPA game on fire! Only this time Alien Church has a Jolly Pumpkin twist!

This hoppy wild hazy IPA is overflowing with 8 different hop varieties including 3 different Cascade varietals. Aromas of grapefruit pith, lemon, and funk in the nose to start, fading into tropical passion fruit and guava. Notes of lemon, lime, pith, and sweet pineapple pair perfectly with the Brett funk, moderate bitterness, and dry finish.

Alien Church

I can’t remember where I first met Jean and Julie.  Anchorage, perhaps?

But I do remember the first beer we brewed together.

A Jolly Pumpkin version of his most popular Alien Church.

We planned to debut the JP Alien Church next to his Alien Church at a tap takeover, in May.  Hoping to create mass consumer confusion, and countless breakings of unwritten paradigms.  We rubbed our palms together and laughed like only evil geniuses can laugh.

I don’t think we ever created the mass hysteria we intended.

But we love the beer, and continue to brew it, mostly for us, but also in tribute to the fine folks at Tired Hands!

Here is the latest extraordinary rendition.  Hope you enjoy!
