A fall inspired version of Bam Biére - a richer, fuller recipe to start and of course a lot of chestnuts to the mash as well! Rich auburn, gently tart, notes of earthy chestnuts, flavors of cashew, taro, traces of autumn smoke and a slightly orange juiciness in the finish.
One day Bam, being the little gentlemen that he is, decided to become a farmer. He planted a veritable sea of chestnut trees, sat back and enjoyed the gentle whisper of the wind through their leafy green canopies. Every fall he enlists a lively horde of hard working squirrels to help him harvest the nuts for later roasting on an open fire. Then he sits back again and enjoys life. And his Michigan grown chestnut beer.
