Bière de Mars is fermented using both an ale and lager yeast, mellowed in an oak foeder and refermented in the bottle. After a short foeder rest, Bière de Mars is then transferred to used bourbon barrels, developing rich notes of caramel, leather, bourbon, and tart oak.
Brewed with two yeasts, mellowed in large oak casks and refermented in the bottle, our Bière de Mars is a sustaining beer brewed to comfort in the gusty ides of March and welcome in a warmth of warmer weather.
